I have sent an e-mail in the past but still do not have a personal URL. I am still wondering why the Bible.org website bans registered sign-ons who "dare" to discuss Satan. I also wonder why the HCA.org website (a hermit crab care network) bans registered sign-ons that report members transporting their 'pets' into non-hermit-crab regions. Finally, I an wondering about the Annual Meeting of the Archaeological Institute of America which recently was scheduled in Chicago, IL, but no review or summary is yet posted with the archaeological.org website.

My novel, Destined for Greatness, was recently published by Doggie in the Window Publications out of Duluth, Georgia.
The story begins with Eugene, a young man, who has died and gone to heaven. Once there, he begins a lively discussion with God. Eugene's life-long questions are answered through scenarios, which Eugene watches.
While in heaven, Eugene learns that many of our decisions shape our present and our future. He finds out that man does indeed have free will and we should take ownership and responsibility for our actions.
When Eugene metamorphosis into Michael, on earth, he becomes influential in the lives of teenagers. As a teacher and counselor, Michael encourages young students to express themselves, so they can grow into successful adults.
This is an inspirational book, motivating each and every reader to become all he/she can be because we are all destined for greatness.

It happens every spring, that optimistic feeling
every major league baseball fan gets when the graperuit league begins.
Just as farmers plant their fresh seed crop, be it sweet corn, wheat, or soybeans, major league managers take the same gamble with their new crop of rookie prospects.
As these seedlings begin to blossum,farmers and baseball managers alike must nurture their new crop.
This year as for the past 150 years, young prospects will lace up their spikes just as the seasoned veterans with hopes of catching on with their immediate club.
Who will be the next Lou Brock? Who will be the next P.J. Forbes?
Who will be the next Vida Blue?
Whether they only play in one game or 2500 games, whether they only get one hit or 3,000 hits, each player has lived the dream that every young boy across this great country dreams of.
Whether you as a fan feel they are a hero or a bum, each player has been the best player ever to come out of their neighborhood be it a small Kansas town or a crowded New York city.
They most likely were one of the best athles ever to come outof their high school and they have paid the price for teir success.
As the 2008 season begin to bloom, think about th best player on your favorite team, then think about the last man to make te squad, that 25th man ont roster.
The next time you yell at him for bobbling the ball or misjudging a fy ball, or striking out when your team needed that key hit, remember that all of use would trade places with the last player on the roster just to get achance to be in te big show.
Even the last player on the roster can say that
they made the majorlague baseball register, something we all wish had happened to us.

Perhaps I'm not very smart, but why is it OK for us to send 140,000+ troops to a country 6,000 miles away -- which never asked for them, by the way -- but we get bent out of shape when Iran, which is Iraq's next-door neighbor, has the audacity to oppose us? By way of example, which country would have a greater strategic, political, cultural and ethnic interest in Canada, the United States or Iran? And while I'm on the subject, why are the Sunnis we are arming the good guys, while the Shiites apparently being armed by Iran the terrorists? Y'know, now that I think about it, I'm really not smart. I forgot that as the strongest military/economic power in the world, we have the right to go anywhere and do anything we like. Right?

This place seems really interesting to me, i really wanna be a part of this network. :-)

I want to publicize my 3 books. There I said it! My first book was published in October, 2006 and is available on Amazon, B&N, etc., and is selling very well. It is called I Am Your Disease (The Many Faces of Addiction). My second and third books are due out in September, '08. Slaying the Addiction Monster - An All-Inclusive Look at Drug Addiction in America Today. Then comes my first children's book, aimed at 5th and 6th graders and up called The Addiction Monster and the Square Cat. This is the book that I'm hoping to get into school systems because this is the age where we need to reach kids to stop them before they start.
What adults do with their lives is one thing but kids need to be given a chance to be kids and not have their future destroyed by drugs.

I found this site after searching for information about Obama. I believe I first had heard of the book I was looking for on the Glenn Beck TV show. Our choice of president this year is almost as frustrating, if not more, as trying to work 2 or 3 jobs to make ends meet. I know I'm not alone in still being undecided after all this time.

For people like me in my late 30s with children, the future is really looking bleak. What were our parents thinking? What was the government thinking? What were WE thinking?

I would love to contribute to this online magazine. I just wish I had the time!
