Peace and hair grease, my party people and blog fiends! Hope you all are ready to blow it up big this fourth of July weekend. We here at the Really Really Good shop have a few news bits, mp3s and video peaks for you, just in case the roman candles fizz out on you and leave you bored to tears. This is the place to be for some high flying sparks, so sit back and enjoy the fireworks!

Hotter Than a Fire-cracker

VP Records has tons of reggae releases that are sure to heat up your summer! The new Reggae Gold album is in stores now, and it features new music from Stephen Marley & Damian "Jr. Gong" Marley's "The Mission", Enur featuring Natasja's "Calabria 2008", Beenie Man, Mavado, Collie Buddz, Richie Spice, Wayne Wonder featuring Trina and more. You can listen to the album online at VP's website, and the album is in stores now!

Prince Fatty is the name to look for this summer! The new CD Survival of the Fattest, is a collection of reggae ska grooves that are sure to take you on a journey through time with it's flashback rhythms and easy skanking sounds. The album has guest appearances by Hollie Cook of The Slits, Little Roy, Winston Francis, drummer Style Scott of the Roots Radics, Bukky Leo, Nostalgia 77's horn section, and Hammond organ by Bubblers from Ruff Cut Band. Check out their single "Gin & Juice" and stay tuned for more from Prince Fatty!

Three 6 Mafia Scares Europeans!

Memphis representatives Three 6 Mafia has a new album in stores called Last 2 Walk. Their new single "Lolli, Lolli (Pop That Body)" features Project Pat (winner of one of the worst Rap Lyrics ever, according to About.com) Young D, &Superpower. The album is sure to be filled with their usual club bangers and southern slang, but it's the video of them scaring the hell outta Swedes that is in my top five! Juicy J looks a little juiced, as he chases random people who are unlucky enough to stroll past him. The Swedes do look a bit annoyed by this black guy, following them and saying the n word. Classic Three 6 material!

Pick Of The Week - Dirty Thoughts

I'm not sure where this clip is from, but it is classic. Check it out while it's online! There are 4 parts to the short documentary, which seems to be shot sometime after ODB was released from jail. The scenes of Dirt in the booth working on songs in the studio, kicking lyrics with Budda Monk working the board, and singing The Beatles are not to be missed. Check out the 2nd part of the series below!
